How we brought Ukrainian furniture to Denmark and helped grow orders from €45,000 to €120,000

A Ukrainian furniture manufacturer received a request from a Danish retailer to supply a batch of chairs worth €45,000. It had no experience with Scandinavia and did not know the FSC certification requirements, the customs procedures for importing into the EU or the specifics of Danish consumer law. It was afraid of losing the prepayment because it did not know the procedures.

Our Scandinavian office in Denmark took over the entire process: it checked the Danish buyer, agreed DAP (Copenhagen) delivery terms, prepared the FSC and EU compliance certification package, handled the export from Ukraine and the import into Denmark, and represented the client during customs clearance at the port.

The first delivery took 11 days. The Danish retailer placed a repeat order worth €120,000. The client gained a long-term European partner without hiring its own representative in Denmark.

"We had no idea how to approach Denmark. BROER in Copenhagen did everything — from checking the buyer to customs clearance. We just made the furniture."— Founder of a furniture workshop
