Since 2026, controls have been tightened on:

  • Agricultural products: phytosanitary certificates, pesticide testing.
  • Metal products: EN certificates of conformity, anti-dumping checks.
  • Electronics: RoHS, WEEE, CE marking.
  • Textiles: testing for harmful dyes, composition labelling.

How to pass: Prepare documents before shipment, not at the border. A prior check in an accredited European laboratory cuts customs clearance time from 7–10 days to 1–2 days.
