Since 1 January 2026 the EU has withdrawn recognition of a number of Ukrainian certificates issued before 2023 without accreditation under the updated EN ISO/IEC 17065 standards.
What is no longer valid:
- Certificates of conformity issued by bodies that have not been re-accredited.
- Manufacturers' declarations for electronics without updated EMC testing.
- Food certificates issued without a HACCP audit under the new regulation.
What to do: Check the validity of your certificates in the NANDO database. If a certificate was issued before 2023, have it reissued. Timeframe — 4–8 weeks.
