DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — the seller bears all costs and risks up to the destination, including customs clearance in Ukraine. Convenient for the buyer, but the seller must be prepared to deal with Ukrainian customs. 90% of Turkish suppliers cannot do this.
DAP (Delivered at Place) — the seller delivers to the named place, but customs clearance in Ukraine is the buyer's job. A balance of responsibilities.
CIP (Carriage and Insurance Paid to) — the seller pays for carriage and insurance up to the border, after that it is the buyer's responsibility. The best option if you have your own broker in Ukraine.
Our recommendation for Turkey: CIP or DAP. Not DDP, unless the supplier has experience with Ukrainian customs.
